CUMBRIA'S FAVOURITE ARCHERY COURSES
IN A BEAUTIFUL SETTING

Channel your inner Robin Hood or Katniss Everdeen! Our archery sessions in north Cumbria will add to spice to your events! All of the sessions you book through Independent Adventure combine our professional coaching with enjoyable games and challenging competitions. Our archery service is available for small, private group bookings on our archery beginner days. **Archery can also be brought to your school field when the schools are open**

SAFETY

Until further notice we have adapted our working practices to be Covid secure. This ensures that we can still deliver a great experience for you: in safety.

A shared experience for your small family group or bubble, archery is a very inclusive country pursuit. One day soon, it will once again be a great idea for a hen or stag do, or for the children’s school holidays.

You will be under the supervision of our qualified and experienced Archery GB Coach. Your group will learn new skills in this traditional outdoor activity. Participants quickly build confidence as they learn the routines of safety on an archery field.

With basic skills and safety routines in place games can be enjoyed. You will enjoy our combination of personal and group challenges. It's a great way to bring your family, bubble or group together as they share in a fun, new activity.

ARCHERY INTRODUCTORY SESSIONS NEAR CARLISLE, CUMBRIA

Each session begins with a quick safety briefing and archery skills demonstration, followed by one to one coaching, as each member of your group shoots their first arrows.

Our friendly instructors will ensure that you are hitting the target confidently and provide ongoing support as you progress through a series of practice rounds, games and competitions which can be tailored to meet the needs of your group and the objectives of the visit: be that fun or development!

Whilst we are not an archery club, many people enjoy shooting with us. So much so, that they return on multiple occasions to Talkin tarn and our other popular Cumbrian archery venues.

Archery is brilliant for group or team building events as it is so inclusive. It's also a great way to get kids (and adults) out of the house if you are local. It could even make up part of your home schooling PE routine, with its clear objectives and scope for progression. Peer review and support throughout the session will make this a truly shared experience.
